Put a game on a tile

Two taps: the game, then the tile. It opens on the network that has it.

From the Games tab

  1. Open Games. Live games are at the top, with the score, the clock and the network each one is on.
  2. Tap a game. A sheet opens: under Pick a tile it shows every TV, with its layout and its tiles. The sheet calls the TVs Monitor 1, Monitor 2 and so on, in A, B order.
  3. Tap the tile you want, empty or not. A live game opens there, on the right network. (A game that hasn’t started yet waits if the tile is already showing something; see Line one up before kickoff.)

When a game has more than one feed (an MLB.tv home and away broadcast, or an ESPN alternate feed such as SkyCast or En Español), the app asks you to Choose Broadcast first.

From the Channels or Shows tab

Channels lists networks; Shows lists what’s airing now on the channels that aren’t showing a game. Tap one and pick a tile the same way.

Line one up before kickoff

Put a game that hasn’t started yet on a tile that’s already showing something. Instead of taking over the tile now, it waits under Queued casts in Manage windows, and takes over the tile when the game starts. Until then, the tile keeps showing what it was.

Put an upcoming game on an empty tile and it opens straight away, on its network.

Choose which service a channel uses

If you have the same channel on two services, pick the one to use in Settings under Default service per channel.
