Setup guides
Do the first four in order the first time, about half an hour in all. The fifth, the remote, is optional and Mac only. Have your streaming passwords handy.
First-time setup
- Install the app About five minutes. You end with the app running on the computer and a free trial started. Start here
- Connect your TVs About ten minutes. Each TV ends up with its own window of tiles, its own layout and a letter.
- Pair your phone About three minutes per device. You end with Stream Organizer Pro Companion on your home screen, opening like an app.
- Sign in to your services A few minutes per service, done once. Every tile shares the sign-in, and it lasts through restarts.
- Set up the remote Mac only, about five minutes: plug in the receiver, install one helper, allow one permission. Optional
Doing more
Short how-tos for game day, in any order.
-
Save a layout
One minute to save. Next week, one Apply puts back every TV's grid and your channel tiles. -
Put a game on a tile
Two taps: the game, then the tile. It opens on the network that has it. -
Give one game the big screen
One tap per TV. Use 1+5 or 1x1 on one TV while the others keep the rest of the slate on. -
Choose what you hear
Two taps. One tile has the sound and the rest stay quiet, so the wall never turns into noise. -
Let it find the close games
No setup needed. Sort by Recommended and the close, late games rise to the top on their own. -
Turn on MLB.tv auto sign-in
One minute. Save your MLB.tv login once, and an MLB.tv tile signs itself in when you put a game on. -
Fix the TV order
Two minutes. TV A ends up the one on the left, so tile labels, layouts and the remote match the wall. -
Find a show in the listings
No setup needed. See what's on the channels that aren't showing a game, local stations included, and put it on a tile.
