Pair your phone
About three minutes per device. You end with Stream Organizer Pro Companion on your home screen, opening like an app.
You need: The app running on your computer, and a phone or tablet on the same home WiFi. It's tested most on iPhone and iPad.
Stream Organizer Pro Companion on your phone is how you run the wall from the couch. It’s a web app the computer serves over your home network, so there’s nothing to download from an app store. Pair it once and it stays paired.
Put your phone on the same WiFi as the computer
Check the network name on both. A guest network won’t work, because it walls your phone off from the rest of the house. Stream Organizer Pro only works at home.
Show the pairing code on the computer
Click the Stream Organizer Pro icon in the menu bar and choose Show status window. On Windows, just left-click the icon in the system tray. The window shows a 6‑digit code and a QR code.

Open on this computerScan it, or type the code
The status window opens by itself the first time you run the app: a dark window headed Pairing code. The code stays good while the window is open. Under the QR code it lists the computer’s address, made from the computer’s own name (so two computers in one house never mix up), then the same address as numbers, for a phone that can’t find the name.
Scan it with the camera
Open the Camera app, point it at the QR code and tap the link that pops up. That’s the whole step: the phone pairs as the page opens, you see Paired. Opening Stream Organizer Pro Companion…, and then your games.
The phone gets a name from its browser, like “iPhone — Safari”. To change it, open Settings in Stream Organizer Pro Companion, then Paired devices, Manage devices →.
Or type the code
No camera handy? Type the address shown under the QR code into the phone’s browser. Stream Organizer Pro Companion asks for the code: type the 6‑digit code from the status window, change the device name if you like, and tap Pair this device.
Pair this phone
Enter the 6‑digit code shown on the Server.
Add it to your home screen
iPhone or iPad: in Safari, tap the Share button, scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Do this in Safari. If the link opened in another browser, copy the address into Safari first. Safari then asks for the code, because the one in the QR link was used up by the other browser: type the code the status window shows now and tap Pair this device.
Other phones: in the browser menu, look for Add to Home screen or Install app. [TBD: confirm Android steps]
Stream Organizer Pro Companion
Open it from the home screen from now on
It opens full screen like an app. If it asks for a pairing code the first time, show the status window on the computer and enter the code once more. Want a second phone or the iPad too? Repeat these steps on each one. Every paired device controls the same wall, and you can see, rename or remove them in Settings under Paired devices.
If it doesn’t work
- The page won't load after scanning.
- Your phone is probably on a different network. Mesh systems sometimes put phones on a separate guest or “IoT” network. Switch to the main network and scan again. If it still can't find the computer's
.localaddress, type the numeric address the status window lists under it. - The code was rejected.
- Each code works for 10 minutes, and only once. Open the status window again (Show status window) and use the code it shows now.
- The home screen icon asks for a pairing code.
- On iPhone and iPad the home screen copy can keep its own storage, separate from Safari. Show the status window on the computer and pair it once more from the icon.
- The home screen icon opens a blank page or says it can't connect.
- Make sure the app is running on the computer and your phone is on the home WiFi. Stream Organizer Pro only works at home. If the app moved to a different computer, delete the icon and pair again.
